Description:

This course is designed to provide students with a deep understanding of media literacy, encompassing topics such as critical thinking, bias identification, news literacy, digital media literacy, and specialised applications in advertising, entertainment, and social media. Through a combination of theoretical insights, practical exercises, and real-world case studies, students will develop the skills needed to critically evaluate media content, distinguish between reliable and unreliable sources, and engage with media responsibly.

This course is divided into 4 modules, each worth 4 credits. Students have the option to choose individual modules or complete all four. Upon finishing each module, students will earn a certificate and receive 4 credits. Additionally, upon successfully finishing all four levels, students will receive a Media Literacy diploma, totaling 16 credits.
